For grown-ups. Every number in these books is drawn as that many dots, each number in its own color, with the numeral underneath. A child who cannot read yet can still see that seven is seven things. Each book goes both ways: up and back down, more and less, number to color and color to number. A child who only ever counts up has learned a chant; going back down is what shows it is a quantity.
Read them together, point at the dots, and count them out loud. Under each book is the game it leads into, and the last page of the book has the same button, so a child goes straight from the story to playing it.
To print one: open the book and press 🖨 Print. The whole book comes out one page per sheet on white paper, with the cover first and the game to play next on the last page.
